PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE NETBALL VICTORIA REGISTRATION *due 1/1/12 |

|
|
|
| Players must be over 14 years
old. |
|
|
|
| FORFEIT
FEES: |
|
|
|
|
|
| Teams
that forfeit, giving less than 48hours notice, will incur a fee of $84 |
|
| to
cover both teams court fees. |
|
|
|
|
| Teams
aware in advance that they are unable to field a team, giving more than 48
hours |
|
| notice will incur a fee of $54 being court
fees less umpires' payments. |
|
| Teams withdrawing after the fixtures are
prepared will incur a $100 withdrawal fine. |
|
| Failing
to provide a scorer as rostered incurs a $10 fine. |
|
| To
be eligible for finals, a player must have played at least three games. |
|
| Score
sheets must have the players names filled in before the game commences. |
|
| Late
players must wait for a goal to be scored before entering the court. |
|
| Electronic
scoreboards may be used if desired and are a guide only. |
|
| Correct
uniform is required. Some items are available for hire. |
|
| Gloves
are not permitted. (please refer to the dress code) |
|
| Long
nails must be taped. |
|
|
|
|
| Please
read and play by the Participants Code of Conduct |
|
| Protests
and disputes should be lodged in writing within 48hours and will be resolved
by the Board |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| MIXED
RULES: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| A) There
shall be at least 2, but not more than three male players on the court during
play |
|
| B) It shall
not be necessary for a male player to be opposed to a male player. |
|
| C) Male
players shall play one in each third. |
|
|
|

| COMMON
QUESTIONS: |

| Q What
happens if 2 males commence the game and 1 is injured and must leave the
court? |

| A Common
sense says play continues. |

the games begins with 5 playes, two of these are male. E.g one male is C the
other is G A |

| the W A & W D positions are vacant? |
A third male arrives. |
|
| A) Stop the
game after the next goal is scored to allow the male player to take the
court. |

| Reposition players in accordance with the
mixed rules and allow the other team to make changes. |
