Margaret Allan is retiring!

After 18 years as the Netball Administration Manager, Margaret is retiring form her part time position.

She was the first employee of the Association, starting work from the netball office in 1991 before the indoor stadium was built and the night games were played at other venues.

Margaret has overseen the move from a totally volunteer run association, to the organisation it is today.

Some of her many achievements are:

• Setting up and maintaining our membership database.
• Computerising fixtures and ladders.
• Participating on working group to design and build the stadium addition.
• Moving night netball to Greaves Reserve Stadium.
• Organising many tournaments including State Tournament for Netball Victoria for over 90 teams.

Margaret was awarded Life Membership for her volunteer work that preceded her paid employment.

Advice was received from Netball Victoria that the fees for 2010 will be:

• Season runs from   17th  April - 31st July.

Semi finals 7th August – Preliminary Finals 14th August – Grand Finals 21st August

•  No games July 3rd (School Hols) or Queens Birthday Weekend.

There are 14 games for this season. 17 games for 11/U.

Team Registration Fee:

15/U, 17/U: $120 plus $80 umpiring fees.

11/U, 13/U: $120 plus $60 umpire development levy.
